Management
In planning this event, we’ve identified key risks with this event, as well as prevention, mitigation, and management processes in place to deal with risks, perceived or actual. This plan is segmented into 5 key areas, with the risks outlined and the management efforts below:
Venue
Waste Management

A “Porta Lisa” will 3 toilets and 1 urinal will be made available to guests

Contract environmental waste management (incl. recycling and composting when possible)
Weather Contingency

Yonge Dundas offers a “Good Weather Guarantee”
Health & Safety

Table capacity has been limited to allow for more space. 2’ plexiglass dividers will be placed between seats where attendees are not part of the same household or “bubble”

Guests will be provided branded double-layered face masks that will be required when moving around and not in their seat.

Guests & staff will be required to install the new app, called COVID Alert, that can tell them whether they have been near someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Guests will be encouraged to maintain physical distance of 2 metres. Textured decals will demarcate where to stand while also providing a slip-resistant walkway

Prior to arriving on-site, guests will be asked to self-screen that they:
a. Have not been outside of Canada within the last 14 days or should be isolating due to exposure to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
b. Do not have or are displaying symptoms consistent with COVID-19
c. Have not been diagnosed with or been exposed to someone with COVID-19 for which they have not received a negative test result -
On-site food prep and kitchen area will be to City of Toronto Public Health Dine Safe Standards
Security

As part of the agreement with the venue, they require the use of their in-house contractor for security. This provides the venue with perimeter security. Any guests with their own security detail will have to coordinate with the organizers and venue management.
Technology

To prevent and deal with any malfunctions or technical errors, we will have a team of well- trained technicians from Alifab and other technology vendors

Permissible back-up power sources will be made available
a. Will look at licensing and bylaw surrounding power generation on adjacent street (Victoria Street)
TechnoReputation and Public Relations

Attendees will be asked to complete an online waiver prior to the event
a. This waiver will include COVID-19 self-screening questions. -
We will purchase Commercial General Liability and Public Liability as well as:
a. Medical Liability
b. Products liability and alcohol liability
- Caterers will need their own insurance and include us as a co-insured
